McCabe Given the Green Light

The sought-after beachside suburb of North Fremantle will be home to a luxurious apartment development after Mustera Property Group Ltd received approval today to proceed with its $80 million McCabe Street project.

The development application was approved in alignment with the Planning Officers’ recommendation by the Joint Development Assessment Panel.

Located at 15 McCabe Street in the evolving suburb of North Fremantle, the building will offer a mix of 42 residential apartments across 8 storeys, with views to Rocky Bay, Fremantle, and Leighton beach. The development achieves 100% Silver Level Liveable Housing requirements to support flexibility for ageing in place. The resident’s amenity will offer dining and kitchen facilities, a treatment room and extensive landscaping.

The design approach seeks to appropriately ‘nestle’ the development within the evolving North Fremantle local context and to ensure that a highly liveable and high-quality design outcome is provided.

The project will feature a high Green Plot Ratio and is targeting a 5-star GreenStar rating, with sustainability initiatives including water efficient landscape and irrigation systems, a solar PV array, embedded meter network and active building tuning and optimisation.
